Book a tour and ride through one of Panama‘s most iconic towns: El Valle de Anton, located in an extinct volcano.

As you pedal through the lush surroundings, you‘ll learn about the volcanoes formation, town history and wildlife.

The electric assist will guarantee a comfortable ride! On this adventure you will also visit the amphibian center and the local market.

Additional information:
Panama is a hot tropical country, thus temperatures are usually high. Use light clothing and sun lotion. During the rainy season (June – November) it‘s recommended to start the tour in the mornings, as it tends to rain in the afternoons, however rain ponchos can be provided.

As prior to any physical activity it‘s recommended to have a little meal before the tour, to ensure you are fueled for the day!

India dormida

Join for the most famous hike in El Valle: The India dormida “sleeping indian” trail, named for a distinctive mountain formation resembling a reclining figure.

Along the trail you will also see the Piedra Pintada, a rock with ancient petroglyphs etched into it as well as some natural pools and waterfalls.

This trail comes with an option for an extension for those who wish for a longer hike, this option will end at Chorro Las Mozas, a river with a natural pool by it.

Cerro Cara Iguana

(Also known as Cariguana)
The Cara Iguana Hike is moderately challenging, with a variety of terrains, including rocky paths and sections with uneven elevation.
The trail is well-marked but can be slippery, so sturdy shoes are recommended, a good spot to take in the view of the volcano, including the impressive Cerro Gaital.
It takes about 3 hours to complete, depending on the pace and how long you stop to admire the views.

A good option for a sunset hike during the dry season!

One of our easier hikes, yet one that offers a stunning view on the Pacific ocean and Panamas central provinces.

Our favorite spot for a sunrise or sunset hike!

The trail is easy yet requires closed shoes, it will take around 3 hours in total.

Be aware that during the dry season strong winds are present.

Cerro Gaital offers an adventurous trek through lush cloud forests, a diverse ecosystem.
Here you might be able to see orchids, bromelias, sloths, toucans and other beautiful birds. The viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and on clear days and generally during the dry season you are able to see the pacific and caribbean sea.
During the rainy season it‘s a tricky trail and the view will usually not be present due to the clouds.
