Public holidays and festivals 2009
March 19th: Day of the patron saint of El Valle, San José.
One of the most beautiful festivals in El Valle is the Semana del Campesino (21th - 26th of September 2009) which finds its highlight in the procession for the harvest with fancifully decorated carriages.
